I specialize in residential mortgage lending. I provide my clients with prompt service, expert advice, and competitive financing packages that close on time. For the last seventeen years I’ve had the privilege of helping families achieve home ownership in the Asheville area. My prior training included real estate sales, property management, financial consulting and most recently in mortgage financing. My broad experience in the industry has given me the vital skills needed to make the best and sometimes creative financing recommendations for my clients. I design mortgage alternatives that will fit within the context of my client’s overall financial plan. I am very dedicated to my work and my clients appreciate my accessibility, financial knowledge, and personal touch.
I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing from Appalachian State University in 1994. I spent a couple of years thereafter in Park City, Utah where I worked in property management yet specialized in outdoor recreation! I moved to Asheville in 1999 and upon passing my Series 7 Securities Examination worked for Merrill Lynch as a financial consultant. I began my mortgage career in 2001 and was the Top Producer for Beverly-Hanks Mortgage Services from 2003-2011 and for Acopia Home Loans in 2013, 2015, 2016 & 2017 .
I am still in Asheville today; living with my wife of twenty years, two active sons, and beautiful daughter. I enjoy fishing, traveling, hiking, snow skiing and coaching Youth Basketball.
